Some info about my latest work….working in my bedroom studio, recording the new album. It’s a small place but it gives me a lot of freedom. I’ve been doing the album all by myself except for a few vocal additions by Jimy and Missy. The mixing and mastering process is what is the hardest and most tedious. Your ears need to be well-rested before you start so that you can tell the difference between all the little sounds and not hear everything the same.

I think this CD is going to be really eclectic. There are a couple of songs that have an acoustic sound and are even a little bucolic. There are others that have a lot of electronic elements. I created some of the songs a few years ago while others are very new. I have put special interest on vocal arrangements and also on harmonies. There are some songs that have quite a few different parts which make them not very commercial, I think ( well, I did what I could).

To add even more eclecticism to this record, each song will have 2 different versions: English and Spanish. This makes the process harder and slower, but I think the product will be very interesting. Since most of the songs were first composed in Spanish, trying to translate from Spanish to English was very complicated, but it is part of the adventure. I will be explaining more about this later.
